| Premier
Botanicals Ltd. is a corporation registered in Oregon. The
corporation, licensed in 1993, is a spin off from Plant
Technologies Inc., also an Oregon corporation that began
business in 1981.
The primary mission of Premier Botanicals is research and development of unique flavor and fragrance materials. We accomplish this by developing new plant varieties or searching existing plant species to produce unique extracts. Much of our research is done in-house and other is under contract with companies producing product using flavor and fragrance material. Under the direction of Dr. Donald Roberts these corporations have developed five new peppermint varieties, two with US patents and two new spearmint varieties. Five new lavender varieties have been developed. New commercial lines of coriander and dill have been developed from established varieties. |
